EC Orange Carpet Experience

Unsere Partnerschule EC hat vor einigen Jahren ein neues, innovatives Konzept auf die Beine gestellt, um neue Kursteilnehmer schon vor Kursbeginn "abzuholen" und während des Aufenthalts vor Ort optimal zu begleiten. Dieses unter "EC Orange Carpet Experience" bekannte Konzept hat die Schule beständig weiterentwickelt und kürzlich erneut novelliert. Hierzu die PM der Schule:
 

The Orange Carpet Experience is about making each student feel special, from the very moment they book a course until months after departure. We give them access to our dedicated communications and learning platform, MyEC, so they can make the most of their trip and track their own progress!
 

1. Setting students up for success before they even get here

Students can now log in to MyEC where they can do everything from taking a placement test to watching videos and doing self-study exercises. With this great platform, they have everything in place.

Updated materials: We have created a dynamic booklet for agents and a separate one for students.
 

2. Making students feel at home

We'll send helpful information about the airport students will be arriving at, as well as info on how to get to the EC accommodation. Plus, they will also receive a special welcome pack to make you students at home!!

New welcome pack: Detailed information on accommodation, what is expected and tips on the city are included in this comprehensive info pack which is sent from schools when students book.
 

3. Helping students hit their language dreams

All students take a placement test to check their level so they can be placed in the right class on arrival at school.

Achieving Goals: We work with students to set goals and give weekly feedback to help them to achieve them. When students attend classes and complete homework, we guarantee they will improve a level every 8 weeks. An exit test results in a certificate of achievement.
 

4. We're here to support you

With our dedicated teaching staff, accommodation services and student services teams, we offer the perfect mix of expertise to give students all the help and support they need.

New Communications Toolkit: The new toolkit brings the best practice across all our schools and communicates the opportunity to perhaps become student ambassadors, win extra tuition, have regular reviews with teachers and win student of the month too.

5. See you next time, never goodbye

On the last day at EC, we celebrate every student's achievement with a graduation ceremony where they get a course certificate that proves their English level!

Graduation and beyond: Before leaving an exit test is planned and a certificate showing the level achieved, which is recognised by governments and education institutions. We give students tips to not forget and to continue learning too and encourage them to follow our socials to this end!
